Update 5/11/2010

So here we are again..... Upgrading our system... we found a deal on craigslist that was to good to be true, so we jumped on it. We are now the owners of a 225 gallon aquarium. This will be the final time we upgrade the aquarium in this house because we just do not have the room to go any bigger. The new tank is 6ft long, 2ft wide, and 30in tall.... Goliath Maximus  that will be turning into a beautiful reef over the next couple of months.

Just for added fun, here are some more pixs of the stuff in the 80g we have running right now. We added a Toadstool coral, but it is not out all the way yet, but here are pixs anyway!!!!! We LOVE pixs!!!

Bubbles the Yellow Tang

So yesterday after taking back the Three Striped Damsels we got a Yellow Tang to replace them with, along with some hermit crabs. Bubbles immediately formed a relationship to Tad, the Sailfin Tang, even though the fish store owner said they would scrummage a bit. So now you do not see one without the other now. Kinda crazy and unlikely pair.

New Critters in the 80 gallon system

Alright so the 80 gallon system has been up and running for almost 2 months now. Cycling went nicely and we have had no swings in water quality for the past month or after cycling. The water is crystal clear  and my testings has resulted in perfect parameters.
So we have decided to add two new critters to the tank. A Hare(sea slug) and a Sailfin Tang. Here are some pixs of the two.
